Manor Training & Resource Centre  (MaTReC) offers rooms for hire to organisations and groups at reasonable prices. The provision is ideal for training, meetings and mini conferences.

Refreshments, administration and 
reception support and resource facilities, including interactive boards, flip charts, etc are available alongside room hire if required, at a small cost.

Rooms For Hire

 
Crèche

MaTReC runs a free crèche alongside every course, Monday to Thursday depending on demand.

The crèche is based in Manor Community Nursery (Viking Lea Road). The crèche is paid for by MaTReC but there is a small charge of 50p for refreshments for each session.

If you are attending classes for a full day you will need to supply your child with a packed lunch (nursery will provide a drink).

 

Disability

There is car parking, including disabled spaces to the front and rear of the buildings.

There is ground floor access to training rooms in the main building and a stair lift provides access to the upper-floor classrooms.

If you do have a disability and you are worried about access please contact us to discuss your needs. You can be sure that we will do all we can to support you and ensure that your learning experience is a positive one.

Coffee Bar
 There are coffee bar facilities which provide snacks and refreshments at ground floor level in the building.
We also help with: Tutorials
Signposting (contacts with support workers, advice centres)
A Hearing Loop for those who need it
BSL communicator
CVs
Additional support including (chairs, wrist supports,dyslexia assessments etc)
Reviewing your progress regularly to help you complete your course
Health & Safety

MaTReC will take all reasonable care to protect all persons from foreseeable risks to health and safety whilst they are on the premises.

However it is also your duty to take reasonable care for your safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions. MaTReC's health and safety policy is displayed in the Coffee Bar.
